BedFerret exists to help festival goers identify accommodation available at festivals and to assist accommodation providers in explaining their product offerings.

We help accommodation providers market their products, and assist festival goers in comparing accommodation options available at a festival.

BedFerret operates a webportal, BedFerret.com, in order to deliver the above services as well as social media channels.

Introduction

These terms and conditions, as may be amended from time to time, apply to all our services made available through this website, through any mobile device, by email or by telephone. By accessing, browsing and using this website or by completing a booking, you acknowledge and agree to have read, understood and agreed to the terms and conditions set out below (including the privacy statement).

  1. Definitions

“Accommodation” means the sleeping facility provided by an Accommodation Provider at a Festival listed on the Website which includes but is not limited to tented accommodation, glamping products or campsite only pitches.

“Accommodation Provider” or “Provider” means the organisation or company providing the accommodation.  This may be the owner of the accommodation or the Festival itself.

“BedFerret” or “We” means BedFerret.

“Festival” means a festival or event.

“Listing” means the description of the Accommodation and any associated products and services as displayed on the Website.

“Visitor” or “You” means the individual or lead individual in a party or group seeking accommodation and making a booking.

“Website” means the website BedFerret.com or BedFerret.co.uk

  1. Scope and nature of our Service

Through our Website Accommodation Providers advertise or market their Accommodation offerings, and as a result Visitors to the Website can search, compare, and book Accommodation.

  1. Listings

Listings, including prices and descriptions of any upgrades or ancillary services and products, are based on information provided to BedFerret by the Accommodation Provider.  BedFerret uses reasonable skill and care in producing the Listing, but cannot guarantee that any information is accurate, complete or correct, nor can BedFerret be held responsible for any errors or omissions in the Listing.

Descriptions provided by Accommodation Providers replicated in BedFerret’s Listings do not constitute a recommendation or endorsement of the quality, service level, qualification of the Accommodation.

BedFerret does not undertake or guarantee to list all available accommodation options for a festival.

We respect your privacy. Please review our privacy statement for further information.

  1. Charges

Unless indicated otherwise, the service is free of charge to Visitors making bookings.

Accommodation Providers pay a commission in the form of a small percentage of the total fee to BedFerret to be listed on the Website and for the services BedFerret performs marketing and advertising the Accommodation of behalf of the Provider.

When you pay for your booking on BedFerret, we will transfer your payment to the Accommodation Provider less any commission due.

  1. Festival Tickets

In almost all cases when making a booking you will be purchasing accommodation only and you will need to purchase separately a festival entry ticket.  You are responsible for ensuring that you are able to purchase a festival entry ticket and Accommodation bookings are not refundable in the event of any inability to obtain a festival entry ticket.

In addition to the terms and conditions of BedFerret and the Accommodation Provider you will be bound by the terms and conditions of the Festival which are available when you purchase your festival ticket.

  1. Accommodation Provider Terms and Conditions

When you make a booking via BedFerret for Accommodation in addition to our Terms and Conditions you are bound by the Terms and Conditions of the Accommodation Provider, copies of which are available on request and key terms listed in the Listing.

  1. Cancellation and No-Show

By making a Booking on BedFerret you accept and agree to the relevant cancellation and no-show policy of the Accommodation Provider. A summary of the cancellation and no-show policy of each Accommodation Provider is shown in the Listing on our Website and in the confirmation email.

If you wish to change or cancel your booking, please refer to the confirmation email and follow the instructions enclosed.  You will be responsible for coordinating and organising any amendments or cancellation directly with the Accommodation Provider.

If you are late or delayed in arrival please ensure you inform the Accommodation Provider directly and promptly of this. BedFerret does not accept any liability or responsibility for the consequences of your delayed arrival or any cancellation or charged no-show fee by the Accommodation Provider.

  1. Communication

By completing a Booking, you agree to receive:

  • An email shortly after booking confirming your booking.
  • If applicable a reminder email from BedFerret prior to your stay.
  • An email after your stay which will include a request for feedback on the Accommodation.
  • If you opt in any information regarding future events of bookings, offers or promotions, either from ourselves or our partners.

You are responsible for supplying your correct email address. BedFerret is not responsible nor liable for (and have no obligation to verify) any wrong or misspelled email address or inaccurate or wrong phone number or credit card number.

In order to fulfill the Booking we will process and store information relating to you including names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses.  We will also pass this information on to the Accommodation Provider so that they can fulfill the order.

  1. Complaints

Any complaints relating to the listing on BedFerret must be submitted to BedFerret within 30 days of the booking or event occurring.

Any complaints relating to the Accommodation must be submitted to the Accommodation Provider directly and any complaints of this nature received by Bedferret will be forward to the Accommodation Provider.

  1. Applicable law

These terms and conditions and the provision of our services shall be governed by English law.

The policy sets out the different areas where user privacy is concerned and outlines the obligations & requirements of the users, the website and website owners. Furthermore the way this website processes, stores and protects user data and information will also be detailed within this policy.

 

When you make a booking on our website we may collect personal information such as:

·         the event you are booking for

·         the type of accommodation you have booked

 

We process this information under our direct contract with you to provide the accommodation you have chosen.

In order to fulfil our obligations to provide the accommodation we will share your data as follows:

 

·         With the provider of the accommodation so that they can fulfil your request for accommodation and so that they can contact you with information or to tell you about amendments or changes.

·         With our IT service provider who hosts and provides our IT and email systems.

 

We only disclose your information to a third party when we need to do so to provide a service that you have requested unless we are required to do so by law.

We do not accept any responsibility or liability for third party service providers.

Payments are processed by our team and we do not store any credit or debit card information.

We encrypt data transmitted to and from the website. However secure transmission of information via the internet cannot be fully guaranteed due to potential events beyond our control and you acknowledge transmission is at your own risk.

Subject to the above provisions, you agree to the transfer, storing or processing of your personal data.
