WHY CHOOSE WYCHWOOD FESTIVAL?
Wychwood Festival is an annual music festival held at Cheltenham racecourse Gloucestershire featuring mainly indie, folk and world music, and is a regular nominee for Best Family Festival.
As well as music, the three-day event includes workshops, comedy, and a Headphone Disco. The festival is known for its family friendly feel, the wide range of music on offer, plus a wide range of activities including 100 workshops for all ages.
The festival also hosts the Children’s Literature Festival (in association with Waterstones) and also works in partnership with the children’s charity Toybox

HOW TO GET THERE
By train
Nearest station is Cheltenham Spa with direct services from London Paddington, Bristol, Birmingham, Swindon, Cardiff, Plymouth, Manchester, Leeds, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
By Bus
Buses run regularly from the town centre, bus station and railway station direct to the racecourse. Route D runs from the train station passing through the city centre at Clarence St. which is within walking distance of the bus station.
By bike
If you’re coming by bike, then there are secure bicycle parks next to the Centaur and the Best mate enclosure entrances to the racecourse.
By coach
National Express runs coaches to Cheltenham arriving into the Royal Well Bus Station. Services are available from most major cities, including Bristol, Birmingham, Cardiff and London.
By car
The festival can be accessed via junctions 10, 11 and 11a of the M5. If traveling from the north on the M5 it’s possible to leave from junction 9 and take the A435 south. The racecourse can also be reached from the East and West by the A40.
WHERE TO PARK
Parking for Wychwood festival is free, with 3 car parks available.
Accessible parking is available via Gate 1. The entrance is clearly marked – please have any badges clearly displayed to help our parking staff direct you.
Trolley hire is available from all car parks.
